The Perfect Sequim Home

This home sale is a great story.  First, it is the perfect Sequim home.  On 1.38 acres, this 3 bedroom, 2,400 square foot custom home with high coffered ceilings, a three car attached garage, a large single car detached garage, fruit trees, a yard created by a master gardener, and located in a quiet area 4 miles from downtown Sequim, all make this the perfect home for a retired couple.  Did I mention it has a gorgeous mountain view?  The floor plan is really amazing, too.

But the rest of the story is where it gets interesting.  The owner calls me up in the morning about 9:00 a.m. and tells me she is ready to put her home on the market.  We had already talked and agreed on a realistic listing price.  I told her on the phone that I was headed out the door to show a wonderful couple homes that day, but we would get together later and make a plan.  As I showed my buyers homes that day, I realized the home they kept describing was this home, so I drove them past it.  They fell in love with it and bought it the next day.  I represented the buyers and the seller.  Okay, so I got lucky. But isn’t luck just opportunity and preparation meeting?
